For the dumb 'proffessionals' here. SOLID lead won't harm you. Just use gloves, and if you're worried about flying particles or oxide. Use a mask. Also, don't eat it. Boom. Solved.

I've seen a garage put tires on $5K rim.
When you're dealing with rims that cost that much you need to be extra careful.
