Incorrect. They reviewed and proved he broke contact before crossing the end of the line which is 100% allowed. The issue was that he and many others were touching the granite, which is not allowed.

Can literally search up the rules of curling any touch before the rock passes that green line is legal and if there was a camera angle in the building at the time of an event do you really think they wouldn’t use it😭

It’s just like WHY would you do that? It seems so insignificant to touch it - do you really believe you’re redirecting it enough to do something?? Just play by the rules, CHEATERS!

1- Canada is wrong. 2- that dude is a dick for reacting that way. Would hate to be his wife/kid/partner. 3- what “huge” advantage does a curler get by touching the stone for an extra couple of inches with their index finger? I mean… this just seems a weird way to break the rules of curling. 😅 4- I…

In the video he touches the stone but it is still before the line.

No wonder the guy cheating looks like the biggest douche in the world. Can't wait for Canada to choke at hockey too.
@michaelsiegfied Feb 20, 2026
Seems more like a nervous tick or a habit or something unintentional rather than cheating. That small brush against that heavy stone with his finger makes no difference.

Deny deny deny….until there’s video evidence
