Xantham gum can make the soup thicker if you don't want to use flour.

Remi I could re binge your videos all day long lol that’s how good your vlogs are , I’m way too nervous become a vlogger YouTuber any advice?

Don't put as much broth. That is what made it too watery!
@veevee6019 Feb 20, 2026
Cornflour and water .... would thicken it right up in the end

Love your content! Way too much liquid in the pot roast. Braising a 3lb pot roast would need no more than 2 cups… if you used 2 cartons of broth, that is 8 cups. Sear the pot roast Gently sautee veggies in the same pan Deglaze with a small amount of liquid (save and put in slow cooker/Dutch oven)…

Searing the meat first would’ve given it amazing flavor

How do you have a cook book and not know that you have to roast the beef before adding the broth, and chicken broth really?????😨😨😨😨😨 and I’m not going to start with the brocoli cheddar soup omg
@AlexanTh Feb 19, 2026
I would try adding a roux to thicken it. I would do this prior to adding the broth. I'm just an amateur cook, but there's something to consider.
