Plot twist: the power button isn't working and that's why it won't turn on. Happened to my last phone.
I know the tests he did likely ruled out this possibility, but in case they haven't, maybe that's something to look into.

What absolute chucklefuck tried to repair the phone prior to bringing it to you?
@evolvetrooper May 23, 2026
Thats why i took mine to a repair shop not the company the companies break your stuff and charge you double for a replacement

Backups once a month. If you really want to keep those pictures at least once a week. Plug your storage in and just let it transfer while doing something else.

I had a similar situation once with a I phone X ,the battery started to loose its charge pretty fast so took it for a replacement and after a day I got my phone back but surprise it wouldn’t turn on ,I took it back and they played around for another couple of days before saying my phone was busted …

These cases are the reason my father always saves important pictures and videos to corresponding flashdrives

Cloud storage, coeliac to laptop, copy to external flash drive.
Why do people leave "critical" data on a device that can be lost or destroyed?
