For you professionals out there, what is the "proper" way I should have used to get that threaded insert out?😂

hah, i printed a handle for a pot lid like 15 years ago, and its still on there, I used it today, printed the handle and a plastic washer and put a hot screw through the both of them and its been on ever since, dishwasher safe too

why not make a cooler handle instead?

Your wife was right

I want one.

a piece of wood, a drill, a screw, a nut.

I don't like the way the brass is going to conduct the heat right into the core of the plastic, where it can build up under the insulation from the outside of the handle. Make me a little bit nervous. The offset and drainage holes might make up for it though! I'd love to hear a follow up after you …

Can I ask something? How weak are 3D printed things?

any $2 cabinet knob will work and you'll be done instantly.

For my dad’s, he just used a fucking zip tie and it works to this day

I’m so jealous- my lid handle is cracked from being stored with something on top of it.
