We both know you’re charging an hour of labor regardless whether it’s a Lincoln or a Toyota.

You'd figure luxury cars would have an even easier system so it can make the owners feel like pros and like they know what they are doing. Press a fancy button to open the space. Bam its hidden and accessable.

Agreed!

And you wonder why engineers aint shit. No proper planning just mash things together. Good thing Mechanics ingenuity and the genius who can fabricate tools and such for a job makes things easier.

One can be done in about 2 minutes assuming its ur first time The other would basicly require to start by removing the passager seat for ease of use

Still get charged $75 labor for Toyota filter change though.

Volvo C30s and ford fiestas are a pain too, gotta remove the fuse box in the pax foot well to then gain a little access!

If my filter was actually this hard to change I would've sucked it up and paid the $200 they were trying to steal from me.

The "ensh*tification" of everything continues unabated. Lightbulb in my fridge burned out. Appliance bulb, right? No. You need to buy an entire integrated plastic assembly for like 60-70 bucks that's a total PITA to replace. Feels like everything is like this now.

Still charge 2h for the filter tho huh
