Millenials are the audience for this show so it's gonna have our brand of cringe. Every time I roll my eyes at it, I just remember how terrible and unfunny our cynical jokes were and then it's not so bad.

Ngl the nostalgia of the game did get me to think about watching. I do like how it looks, but idk about the humor. If it's like Disenchantment in story and humor quality it'll be ok.

They should have done something like the Castlevania anime on Netflix, which respected the world, characters, and took the story seriously, but still had funny meta humor sprinkled in. Oh well.
